    Microcement/ polished plaster

Some firms insist you do a course before ordering off them. Covers their arse and makes sure the plasterer is well versed with their gear.

    Insulating @ anyone ?

I always cut a 200mm square for the sparky in insulation for his spots. He does, however always curl his cables back into the socket backboxes nicely for me (y) Look after each other lads...jobs hard enough.

    Greasy garbage yet again

I don't get why BG can't supply a uniform product like they used to. We've all said that it's greasy and horrible to use, and it goes in waves where its simply unusable. Half sets and the other half still comes off on the trowel. And that's on boards. Scratchy and unable to finish it properly...

    Greasy garbage yet again

I thought it used to be good til they changed it about 12 - 15 years ago. Past few years it's been awful, having to change between multi and board when one of them gets unworkable. Shouldn't be like that. Did they change it to accommodate the plastic trowel brigade/DIYers I wonder.

    Self employment: WHY !

I like the freedom of it, but I despise plastering in general so now look for an easier path. For me that's working for smaller house builders where I can leave my tools and forget about having to find work. f**k getting phone calls, looking at jobs, buying materials, roll and strolling...

Can i hardwall over blue grit?

Bonding. Hardwall is for higher suction. Suction has been killed by the blue grit.

    Cracked bonding
