When doing 2 coat K-rend, topcoat being Silicone FT, does it need to be put on and just flattened with straightedges etc or does it need floated to leave it for scraping?

I got a nice tshirt with my Nela Ryan , is awesome .....although it was a XL lol and im just a smallguy but suprisingly fits ok :) trowel is brilliant also. Is the EZE spat the same as the blue handled refina s*p*r*lex skimming spat?

Almost every builder in our area does their own . Ive only came across one who I now work with quite a bit who is actually very competent on the trowel. But there is another who swears by PVAing new blockwork and then putting a 2sand -1cement render mix on it lol and saying its been on for...

Our local builders merchant has a pallet lying around. Not a Jewsons or Keyline. Family business but the best one in out area. Only just across the water from you in Dumfries and Galloway lol

Nothing up but Pva does same job cheaper lol.

I know people who use neat SBR or sometimes diluted 1:1 with water for skimming. :-O PVA is the business though
