excellent, thanks. is the wall still able to breathe when you put dg27 on? just paint in on with a brush? or roller?

wondered if anyone has ever done this. I've been asked by a client in a cob cottage to over skim his lime plastered walls with lime plaster. is this possible? do I need to do something to the surface to form a key, or is there anything I can paint on to make it stick? Thanks Russell
