Hello I was just after some advice

All the plasterboards I can find contain gypsum is there any out there that you know of that don't contain gypsum?
Also besides lime plaster, what other alternatives are there to gypsum plaster mix for skimming ?

Any help will be apprciated

Very popular in India, for some reason never took off in Europe. All you need is plenty cows.

I was reading an article in German on Facebook about how clay plastering is becoming more popular. If ze Germans rate it and building these machines to mix and spray it? It can't be bad gear at all? A lot of benefits to clay. I've never done it myself but might be worth looking into? There is a clay section on here if I'm not mistaken?

Knauf Aquapanel is Cement based, but just as easy as a gypsum board to work - same thickness

Knauf's range of Ready Mixed Finishes are all marble based. Very smooth hard wearing finish, white in colour for easier decorating

Why are you asking?

Hello. Good question. Is it for eco-build? A job I did in Pudsey they had used a board called breatherboard that they had applied themselves. It was skimmed with a plaster called breatherplaster. I have used it that one time. You could try Fermacell also but I think it still contains gypsum.

I've contacted the customers and they are going to get back to me with the product details. If they are agreeable I could perhaps pass on their telephone number.

Thanks contacted adaptavate who manufacture that breatherboard you were on about. They no longer do the board as they are looking for a larger manufacturing scale. They do now offer alternative plaster to gypsum , which i have ordered to try out.

Why are you asking?

Am working in a environment with high humility and gypsum just absorbed moisture so was causing problems with the plaster.
