Not one for spending ridiculous amounts of money on a van and my credit rating is f**k*d after taking out a small loan to finish my gaf(site work) and not paying the f**k**s back. Ive 4k to spend and want either a nissan primastar, renault traffic or vauxhall vivario. I know the gear boxes can be abit dodgey after so many miles but after driving transits for years and the cuntin things always rusting underneath, im going to be changing to one of these vans. TBH, ive seen a nice renault, well kept, tow bar, roof rack etc.. however ive always heard bad reports about renault cars and had a b*****d megane years ago. Would tehevans be as bad?

Buy a Xmas bonus ball for £10 ,you look like a winner ,there are four left ,each one potentially worth £590 cash, direct to your account, helps buy a new van ,

Got a Renault master had it three years, b0ught second hand, 115000 miles on it just now and goes fine, only bad point is the turning circle is tight, great van for holding cornice, coving, 8x4 sheets etc

Just bought this for £4100. 77000 miles from new. Nearly 40mpg. Reliable as f**k and will hardly depreciate.

Just sold my vivrio 06 never let me down it' had over 250k on it. Bought a master. It' just a lottery buying a van. Make don't mean a thing anymore. My bro has a 3 year old vw had more problems with it then my vivrio as I had zero problems.

I'd have persevered with it rather than take that hit

Couldn’t do it. Felt like a pikey driving it. Was s**t on fuel too. Only consolation is I’ve already been offered over £5k for the T4. Not that I’m going to sell it.

I'm using an 04 one at the min (prima star so same as) that I got last year for 1k only had 97k on the clock. Had to put discs and brakes on it for MOT and it's looking like I might have to put a battery on it. I hate spending money on them and always buy cheap but always have my eyes and ears open for potential bargains.

You can pick up a Vivaro/Traffic/Primastar for around a grand with a knackered gearbox but otherwise in decent nick. A fully reconditioned box (done properly with all new bits) will be about £1,200 inc fitting. So for £2.5k you'll be on the road with a decent van that won't rot.
