Hi ,I bought a new build and less then a year it is full of green algae . The 28 houses in the estate are all the same . We have Dry Verge edge on the roof so not sure if this is the issue . Can anyone offer advice

It is nothing to do with the roof system. Your property is either close to trees or water.

What is the best solution to stop it , I am only in house 8 months . Should I paint over it ?

Paint it coloured maintanence free render is a myth it’s possibly the worst finish for gathering algae and dirt
Just hope it’s not K-rend or you will have pretty pink streaks running down you’re house

Google Monty’s miracle cleaner brilliant stuff , spray out of a garden spray bottle leave it for about a cup of tea time then just wash it off with garden hose job done

all them "new" renders are shite

making a huge profit

for a failure in 5 years time

Totally agree , failure is not even 5 years it’s 2 at most
