Hi I'm looking to gain some experience plastering, is there anyone in the Gloucester area willing to let me tag along and just observe so I can pick up some pointers?
I have plastered a bonding coat over some damaged walls but about 2 hours later cracks started to appear in it. I gave it a good coat of pva. And it still seems to have a bit of moisture in it as it's still quite soft. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
I've heard a few people say I need to get marshaltown trowels etc but does having the best tool give better results? Is this what gives the smooth glass finish?

Hi I need some advice what to do with damaged walls. What's the best thing to do. I have plastered walls before which didn't turn out too bad but the other walls in our house are damaged. Cracked, holes and bad repair jobs by the previous owner. Any tips would be grateful
