I am a plasterer who can do everything boarding wise . and i am looking for training on how to do suspended ceilings and metal stud work . Initially what a fixer/dryliner does . Minus the boarding part . Any help would be appreciated .

Never been pulled so s*p*r*lex cant be that bad . All boils down to pressure . Shine a light down any wall directly down it and will show any inperfection regardless if your best plasterer in world. Whats the new speedskim sf for ?

Lads using the plastic refina trowel do you lads work on site or own domestic jobs. If so how do you use the refina solely for finish ie first coat . Flatten . 2nd coat .flatten. trowel up then dry trowel . As i work on site so dont flatten first coat. Used refina ones in past and to get best...

When doing a ceiling i will press trigger sometimes i will release get into position again and start again . Doing a row is generally fine its when pre tacking to hold into position. It might be me having to get used to the gun . As i said with the 35mm not one miss fire . Might be just me . But...

35mms go in no problem . Just them 50mm ones they go in quick when they go in but when you try put them in quick just spits em out or collation rips so you have to go fairly slower than normal. Wondering if it the plastic on collation what causing it . It feels crap . The yellow strip timco...

The hilti dont like double boarding into resi bar with them 50mm screws i posted a pic of . My mates 14.4v senco puts them in better . All hilti does is spit them out

Yes i am . But was pushing forcefullt to be fair . Due to habbit . Do you generally have to go slower when using bigger screws with hilti . Wondering if its the screws

Well first thoughts this morning . Using it with 50mm screws and its spitting them out more than putting em in. What can cause this .

I have considered it lol but wanted something different . But clearly sounds un reliable . Especially for site work . Where it would take hammer all time .

What was it like putting up resilient bar you said on forum it was good then few month down line you said it was crap lol .

What size screws was you using 55 or 35 mm . And for steel was you using the proper screws or wood screws . Do you do site work . first you said it was good . What changed . Did you ever clean out the mechanism .

What are speedskims like then inknow there are 2 types of speedskims now the plastic ones and the metal blades . Are they good . I work on sites and have to put few m2 on would it flatten with ease or just go over lines and cause bumps ?
