    Dabbing foil backed board.

    Help. Gotta wall to skim that will have to be dabbed. Builder has specified 25mm celotex backed board, however, there is an area of the wall that is too proud to put on the celotex board, I've got to use foil backed 12.5mm for that bit. Question is ........will it stick? What adhesive is best...

    sponge renovation

    just thought I'd share this ..... forgot to clean out my sponge after using it on a reskim job. Thought it was beyond help. I remembered a post recently about cleaning trowels by soaking them in washing powder..... soooo......left overnight in a bucket of daz.....Tadah!

    Thank god it's friday.......if it had happened on a monday I'd have had a meltdown, Working in an old victorian end terrace ...complete reskim for a laid back "that'll do" kind of builder... walls all over the place...patched etc.etc Had a mare of a day yesterday chasing the set (x 2)....decided...
