Hi , you are right but I’m too busy to go on a course and p1 miles away, done all the floating/rendering etc 30 yrs handballing.
But the machines fair play they good.
But they messy and aggro getting in the van and taking out. But when they work they brilliant. Been on these courses before and...
We had a few issues, can u give us any information on what speed u using?
What size gun gap ?
Your airline is it flush with the gun?
When getting your consistency before hoses what are u aiming for?
As sometimes we been happy with thickness and then had problems
U deffo rightwe not daft but we spray a lot of other products ( slurry’s/ tyrolean) etc, we have had the machine going well but also had issues.we tried slowing it down but then feels too slow, tried different cap size, been messing around with the air nozzle as I think that causing a lot of...
When it’s working well a good machine, but had problems too, my mate don’t like but 2 other lads say it’s brilliant, just a case of sticking with it, but sometimes think handball no headaches
Frustrating as it’s an easy fix and sussed out a lot with it already, I’m thinking the r/s abit loose so that’s where the issue lies, checked the water filters and air etc,we have had it spraying nice
Prime the machine then get the right consistency, but then as we feed through the hose it stops at the end of pipe, could the rotor stator need tightened?also when I’m doing the consistency I’ve noticed when I turn the water a little bit it tends to go from thick to water very quick, so would I...
I would say it should have been primed and if using pva e careful what u buy and read instructions. Due to a lot of them watered down ( diluted)I don’t think it will fall off.
Icf ?
Can see where u coming from, u know your stuff, but sometimes I think a lot of messing around on small jobs for a machine, if 100-300 m2 then fair play
I can understand why they have the machines, because I’ve seen a few gangs do a brilliant job, but let them come and compete handballing and let’s see if they can do it, I’m sure a lot of them will quit
Like u said , a lot of problems with pumps, but also a lot of it human error, u need the right gang who have abit of brains behind them, as the machines not cheap
Sounds like u got sucked into buying a machine , I can’t fault the machine’s they all good, but we handball any product and we not far behind, float and set forget the machine . As long as I’m fed by 2-3 labourers we will keep up
U correct, but also a slurry coat over the concrete lintels 1st, it’s pulled into quick and that’s why it’s cracked, unless brickwork not pointed up well etc
All mono and silicone etc look good if done right but I still think not the greatest, traditional still the best way as it’s suited to our climate, mono open finish and if trees nr by or overhangs not right , then it will look a mess in a year,
Silicone ok but u got to cover absolutely...
1 - if boarding lay the boards longways across the wall , so u working waist height, and use clever scoring tools where u put your Stanley into the holes
2 - always mix fresh a bag at a time , forget the cream
3 -don’t let people under cut u ,
Rates u want are £5 skim /£5 dab minimum
4 -...
