    Using scrim tape for drylining joints

    Hi As above can you use scrim tape for jointing tapered edge boards and then easifill over it??? or do you have to use paper? Ive just been asked by a bloke in my street to "do some plastering" as he said when i arrived to have a look he just wants the joints filled in , its all been boarded...

    Another garage ceiling

    Right chaps....Ive got another garage to do Its basicly a board and skim but its below "living space" its already insulated and the existing joists are there.. So i was going to use 12.5mm fireretardent boards and skim as normal... would this be ok? if so what are the ideal boards to use...

    Trowels

    Ok this may seem like a lame question but what would you experienced spreads call a decent trowel? i know Marsheltown seem to be the one ive heard mention the most but what about the likes of Ragni or Silverline? is there much difference apart from bieng pre worn and handle ?? cheers

    Hello Im pretty new to the plastering scene so im wondering what is the best tool for internal angles ..Im aware that experienced spreads may not use them so spare me the greef haha.. ive seen the cheap ones on ebay (silverline and ragni etc) for between £5 and £10 are they any good? cheers
