Can I hardwall over copper pipes?

Any help would be great....

My dad has had his bathroom recently done and some new plumbing has been put in. He doesn't want the wall re-boarding and I was looking at the best method of filling in the chases where the new pipes are.

Is it possible to fill in these chases with hardwall? I am not sure if this is ok to do or if it will damage the pipes.

Any suggestions on what to do would be really helpful. Thanks.

Duck tape them. 2 layers neatly. Let's them move a little and i would use bonding. Guess it's all a matter of what you like to use

As above then personally I'd PVA and use bonding...

Possibly bed in some scrim/render mesh over the top also!

Must admit I also always worry that will cause problems down the line much prefer to overboard pipes when ever possible!

The pipes will expand & contract
So will crack
You will get s call back on that job , not worth
It .,unless Customer disclaimer
