Joining and skimming tapered plasterboard

Hello I have recently had some tapered Edge plasterboards installed into my bedroom.
I would like to know if you can join them with gyprock easy fill sand it flat and skim over the top
or use a different product to join the boards

Yep you can or just skim them

Yeah. Use something long enough and straight to bridge the tapered joints though.

Eh? Why waste time. Just scrim the joints then skim

Just tape and fill with easy fill. Sand it down betweeen coats and give it as many coats as you need until your happy with it.

I've only ever skimmed Square Edge plasterboard didn't realise you could just skim tapered Edge one's aswell I thought it might have caused visible joints, sagging or cracking with the plaster being applied thicker in the join area

Fill out the tapers first with skim then skim the lot
