neat new tip you may already know it but its new one on me. how annoying is it to get old plasterboard adhesive off.
pour some neat uni-bond around the seal leave it 10-15 mins then get your scraper in and presto it comes off a lot easier. some sort of chemical reaction with uni-bond and adhesive.

i'm now worried about all the walls we've dot dabbed where there was black mortar joints so we pva'd the dabs first.
