I've removed browning from brickwork and breeze block with an SDS drill tile spade some of it just fell away some areas were more tenacious.
There is a thin coating in many areas embedded into the breeze block surface.
Besides removing as much dust as possible, do I need to prepare the surface prior to dot and dab with some sealer such as pva are similar or will the dot and dab adhesive stick okay on its own?

Just spray the wall with water to dampen the dust and dab away. Some might pva but I find a quick spray is enough

was trying to go the @Vincey route with a plug for the advice but the water board f**k*d me off
Is it the draper bottle? :numberone:
