Top of stepped out base

Will appreciate any suggestions on this,I have a built out stepped out base to do,it's stepped out a few inches,I will b putting a plastic 12mm bead on it,my question is how do I keep the slope straight where the base meets the wall,done them b4 an haven't been 100% the walls are being rubbed smooth and any wee bump will be noticed,
