depending on the plaster you are using??

use a high quality acrylic primer add about 1 cup of #70-100 sand ...whichever you can get hold of...quartz, silica,dolomite....and prime and then plaster away

Really? My car got hit by a rogue 6x3 the other day - it's that time of year I guess..
I love them plywood trees but they tend to splinter a lot when you cut them down with a chainsaw.
