I got the start I was after - the guy even paid me, which was nice.

Learned quite a bit in the time I was there, but they ran out of work and the firm has evaporated - as they do. I'd forgotten about that bit of the job.

So I'm a little further on than I was before. Turns out that I can hold my own but need to work on speed and those tricky jobs that only lots of experience can help to master.

Gaining more experience is much more important than the rate anyone might be able to offer - I'm still happy to work for 'what I'm worth' or what anyone can afford to pay.

If anyone's got owt, I'm sat at home.
