Dunno how big is that ceiling of yours, but it's slow enough in this weather at the minute

Agree with Cornelius, if you cant find extratime cream of tartar works too.

If you find it's going off just do it in two, better to look after what's already on, just make sure your featherings spot on

Jess has the right idea just split it into two with a nice neat blend!
Great to see a professional female Plasterer who knows her stuff!
Big respect for all the females in this trade;)

Get another plasterer to stick it all on while you sit in the van then come back in for the last trowel and steal all the glory:musculoso:

Once did a 300 m2 ceiling nice 30 bagger, had to split it in 2. Good afternoons work that ceiling. Thank God it was only 5 mtrs up.

even scottie 10 bags would struggle with that 1 -----------:inocente::inocente::reloco:

Lol seriously..can I ask did you do it on your own??
So you broke it down into 2 ??150m2s lay??
Give me some feed back because I must have been doing something wrong over the last 20 years !

Put fibre tap across. Just as it's setting pull off to create a line.. Then plaster the other side. Normally get the join tidy but a little sandpaper when dry finishes it off..

Had to tack a 200m2 ceiling back in the day,........phew, took a bit of doing I can tell you..........but after dinner, chips & mars bars washed down with the old orange coloured lucozade, we were buzzin’, so we just smashed it on......looked good considering my mate helping had never mixed up, and I only had a bike cog on a stick..........

Ahh the old days,.......think they were longer you know? ......three thirty seemed to take an age to come round......

Also try some scrim tape on ,to what u can manage n then pull it off n move on
Just don' make a mistake i made and worked to tape on a joint about a foot in front of tape i needed to pull of . Pulled wrong en of . Big crack down ceiling when it dried doh
