I do most of my mixing outside, if it’s not too loud would it be better than having to charge batteries?
I think I will eventually go for the Dewalt or metabo just letting the other lads test them out first :)I know what Gordon thinks of his but are metabo and colomix same company?

Don't get the metabo/collomix they shite, paddle speed too slow and a 5ah battery only last 2 one bag mixes

Dare to explain Ryan? Too fragile?

Although they go up to a high bar pressure, and are extremely light. They kink very very easily. To the point we had a customer testing onsite, it got kinked on scaffold and blew.

My advise would be to only use a 5m as a whip end, as this is the bit you’re really ‘carrying’ - but still, be careful.

Any thing petrol like that is old technology.
look at the way sthil saws are going with batteries now, they've the same power as petrol but weigh less, no noise,no fumes and you aren't paying for petrol at 6 quid a gallon.

A lot are switching to 4 stroke.

Why? I had one of these in th nineties, waste of bloody time and choked the f**k out of me, I was glad when someone broke in my garage and nicked it, only ever used it once had it for years, electric much better, dont know about battery ones though

Anyone else throw the mixer in van after every mix? Had some stuff stolen about 7 years ago while at work so paranoid now. Thieving scum.
