What's the best way to plaster to the bottom of a wall with shadow gaps . I've been plastering with shadow gap beads but found it very awkward and time taking.

Well they are bloody time consuming. Plastering them is quick and easy compared with fitting the beads though.

You mean what bead like a board edge bead?
No mate proper shadow gap beads like these.

Do you want some beads mate? I think we've got two or three boxes in the unit waiting for a home.

Thanks andy :D But with this job I really just wanna turn up and do it rather than getting involved ... Its for someone that is a control freak so letting them order sort out exactly what they want and I just turn up and use what they have... :D

I have tried before "helping" them with stuff and all it does is create more agro for me :D

Worked for lots of them over the years does my head in what with poverty in the world and terror attacks etc and these numpties scrutinising every little thing. One fella put 11 coats of paint on all the newly skimmed walls!
One stripped back every wall back to brick and the two children had to sleep downstairs for YEARS while he took forever to prep and wire, plumb, board then finish off! Said to his wife one day this is supposed to be a family home and the children were too embarrassed to invite friends round.

Rant over.

yup with this chap he pays my labour and I just do an easy days work doing whatever he wants me to do... I found that in the past if you offer to help he offloads any problems on to you directly so best let him do all the thinking :D
