Try putting a phone number up , also are you going to live in it or sell it

My mate Terence Trent lives near there IL send you his number! Good plasterer sings a lot at work!

How much should it cost. Upstairs hallway I'm going to pull down and fit 12mm board myself. Need to install couple of sockets and lighting either side of the bed also. But il do all that as most of the plasterers I've called eyes light up when they see the job. Bedroom only needs 3 walls plastering.

Some of the prices quoted are obscene.

Beware of the vultures :buitre: circling on here mate! It’s best to go with a well known member if possible? (y)
Yes because if your not a well known member on tpf surely you can't plaster or maybe you have a life and last on list of priorities is posting on a forum

It helps on the man size gauges. ;)
When I was much younger would mix up with a pogo quicker than electric , 40m+ ceilings and put tape in on top of first coat , of course it was easier then as their was never a bad bag, actually I've only had two in all my time, I think someone was sorting the dodgy stuff and directing it to lurpy :)

I can’t speak for lurpy but trust me when you get a crap batch of gear it’s seriously no laughing matter :llorando: and certainly not a myth.

The only change I've noticed is not getting such as quick dirty mix , but I always collect my own materials , and the two bad bags were stored ( still in date ) by site , one was gritty an the other , last year , didn't go off and the site shut at six so I left it half wet and some patches flash set, insisted and got paid :bailando:

Did it settle?

Aren't I good , you mentioned fitting your own boxes, and I resisted to say your all doing it wrong , another day , coming soon , promise , fingers crossed
