There used to be a place in Billericay Essex that ran them from time to time. Sorry can't remember their name but they definitely knew their s**t.

No the Billericay one definitely wasn't Gold Trowel, it was a private training center I did some voluntary work at. They were a fibrous company that had started doing courses in solid plastering and just the odd one for fibrous.

I've had a look and it looks like they're no longer trading. Their old web address does take you to Gold Trowel but they were called APC. I'm afraid your hunt must continue.

Some of their work around the world was fantastic. Loads of work on filmsets etc., hotels and all sorts.
I learned most of my fibrous stuff with a boy that had worked for the BBC on film sets he also did work on Windsor castle after the fire /a master at his job /ps zoom into my van picture for APC

That's quite a coincidence isn't it?
I'm guessing that you aren't a limited company? They were.
I've got a feeling that the old boy that owned APC may have died, I noticed that his house is up for sale.

@hirst - if it was me I would go straight to the source, contact a fibrous plasterer and offer to pay him for you to learn from him. I wanted to learn to do pargetting - a style of rendering, I looked around and found a bloke who modestly called himself ‘Essex No.1 Pargetting Contractor’, I paid him to teach me and it worked out.

APC is the one I saw a few years back. Sent me all the course details. Can’t find them now
