What a bellend, don’t pay him a bean.. you agreed that you were getting your house skimmed and it hasn’t been, end of. Tell him you didn’t plan on living in an industrial unit the f*ckin joker

I bet it will look fine painted up. The issue for me would be that it’s not going to be as hard wearing as plaster on the new boards....The slightest knock with something and it will dent. I think you need to check all your messages etc to see what was actually mentioned incase you can’t come to an agreement and the company takes you to court for non payment. I would see where you Stand legally before you decide how to proceed.

It is a legal requirement for limited companies to give a proper written quote, not just a simple message.

You think that will look fine painted up? God knows what the reveals look like

Have you ever seen tape and joint, sanded and painted? I have and it can look flawless it’s just not hard wearing.
Yeah I have. Obviously if the customer spends a day or 2 sanding it all back, filling in all the gaps they've missed etc it may look fine but that's not the point. If you painted it up as they've left it, it would look a load of shite

Missed the jist of this and f**k reading that opening thread..from what I've got is the blokes hired some eastern Europeans and there have tape n jointed instead of skimmed, when client asked 4 skimming? You've got to admire the genius of it..how much did there charge?

"This is how they do it in Europe."

My first question was gonna be

Is this guy european then.

f**k sake...
Another one.....

s**t job..

Not end of the world @Ali123

But I'd give him the option to sort it, as it is clearly not finished.

It's on his head, he should be stressed not you.

Tell him I'll sort it out for you if not........

for 10k. :)
