Ive done it before with Wickes bonding agent and skimmed over as the tiles were stuck on with cement . If they are stuck on with tile adhesive fetch them off

Yes see the job through then throw the trowel in! We did a mono job a few weeks ago when we had that hot spell for a few days,no chance I was going to leave a maté high and dry! Forgot to say it nearly killed me!
