Carbon steel trowel

The additive bit got me aswell if you want bonding to set lash a load of cement in :D

Done a room a few months back with 50/50 and when it came to putting on the finish it didn't seem to trowel up very nice so went back to using finish

Just wondering how everyone goes about reskimming aretex. Personally I give it 2 coats of skim flatten in then sponge it, once it has took up abit knock up again then coat the wall again to cover it. Probally a better way but that's how I was shown as an apprentice and seems to cover nicely

Browning would slide down the tanking and be a nightmare.. Render lite and dricoat are bad enough on tanking

Does anyone take the edges off their speedskim and how much you curve it, no matter how far I take it off it leaves lines when flattening

Went to a job I did months ago using the s*p*r*lex and it painted up nicely. I use a little water still on the last 2 trowels, tried without water and didn't seem to trowel up as nice
