Can you paint directly over a carlite Bonding plaster?

Yes. Got the beads that weekend from wickes and did job that weekend too.

It was only plastered 1 week ago. I also put the skimming on thick around the window. Had to bring it out more with skim around the top part of the window.

What's the best way around this? Should I pull the bead off and start again? Or just go over it with some more finish?

Hi maltman777. I Pva'd it 3 times because after just a couple of coats of pva, the ceiling didn't feel tacky. It didn't even feel like I had put any on. And 2ndly I left it a day before skimming it because I didn't have time to skim it that day. Because I did a big bathroom ceiling too before...
