    Thanks! Do you think the tiger stripes/marks are mainly due to adding too much water to slow the drying or because my trowel Angle was too open too early?

    2 coats. 1 with a trowel and 2nd with roller to be quicker but by the time I'd got back with the ST speedskim it was too hard to flatten out so had to spray water to make it workable.

    Ooh and should I use easfill on he corners with the corner tape instead of multifinish because it's harder to feather out with it?

    Thanks for all the advice! Sorry to sound like an idiot but just to double check, with smaller cracks easifill is better than multifinish? And do i need to let the easifill dry out before skimming? Then do the pissy coats of pva? I know all this is very basic but I've only just made my first set...
