I did a job a while ago and went to travis as was close to the job. Think I got 6 multi, 6, 3m corner beads, a roll of scrim and some plasterboard nails. Came to just under 80 squid :O If I had gon to B&Q it probably would of been under 50!
I did a job for a mate. He described it as a large shed at his old man's. I said, will I need my stilts as said to him its easier. He said, "No, your be fine off a hop up, plus we've got some ladders etc here."
Turned up and it was a chalet type building, 30m2 slanted ceiling, 3m on higher side...

Seems the same in many trades, Some people snowed under and some with nothing. There seems to be work out there. Fingers crossed for the people who are quiet ( including me) and good on, the ones who are busy.
Agree with above... Too many people want a top quality job for peanuts. Developers always wanting more and more metrerage a day but a top finish to go along with it. I've always stuck to my guns and gone for quality.
Well thats just confirmed what I was thinking. Much prefer the variety and like some of you said, it's good to have a rest from plastering from time to time. Hard on the body!
