has anyone one done wet dash like this way b4???? scratch coat with s&c freefow, 2nd coat s&c freeflow, then next day wet dash with lime, straight back onto the 2nd coat???? people say u get a flatter finish???

they were done like this for fire proofing some times even cross boarded twice,then bonded and skim.. something that was done in the 70s and 80s now we have fireline boards, it was a build spec on some new builds or garages with a rooms above!

if ur doing tiling work after plastering? floor to ceiling, i would put up 2"x1" wood frame, for extra 2 hours work, (make it nice and level,) reboard and skim, then u will have a nice and neat tile cut at the top. good job and quicker..with no come backs.

u can use finished renovating top coat plaster next day. but if u using milti u should leave it 3 to 5 days b4 skiming. or u wll get bubbles and it will pull though ur top coat and get a s**t finished. when mixing renovating plasters u should mix for 3-4 min let it sit for a few mins and mix...

hi there there is artex paste that u can use to remove artex brush on and leave then scrap off after 30 mins come straight off if the ceiling is plastered good there is no need to skim!!!!! job done
