It's bollox because i envy the few blokes i've come across who can get away with it :RpS_laugh: I'll stick a wall on 1 coat in a cupboard if i have some spare gear but i wouldnt do it on bigger areas. Don't look right and most one coaters i've met, go over the tapes and beads first anyway...

I heard it was true Phoenix but if that's a genuine case, how come there are still so many firms that don't charge retention or levy?? This can be a problem with being a subbie, whilst some firms treat you with the respect you deserve, others are completley diabloical!! Word get's around...

1 coating is bollox, i only known one lad who could get away with it but he had arms like f*cking tree trunks!! The firms i sub with always tell you they pay for beads or measure through but they never do. Crafty C*nts!

When i did my health and safety test, i got tons of questions for sparkies, plumbers and others. Pointless!!!!! Hopefully they've made the questions more trade specific since i took it! I've also had to fork out for other health and safety awarness course and manual lifting. Not been asked...

I have been on jobs where flo screeds been used and it hasn't settled/level'd properly and the chippies have had a nightmare sanding down door bottoms to get them to clear the screed. A lot quicker method than sand and cement but can get just as many cock up's. Bigger sites seem to love flo...

Looks good to me, always a good thing to offer potential customers to speak to past clients. Maybe you could ask your previous clients to post some testimonials and offer a link to their website or contact info, if they're builders or what ever? Just a thought but looks good :RpS_thumbup:

Try trowelling that f*cker up on your tod lol! Looks interesting though and if it makes the job easier....... I just bet that if you did it from a subbing perspective, the big firms would give you a shite rate. Don't think it'll catch on with smaller jobs but i think it will on bigger jobs...
