mines not mega money but once went to a job n took me a age to find place . All they wanted was a board dotting on cill so they could tile it. Really didn't want to come back so told em 70 note . They said when can you do it . I said I,ll do it now as had gear in van . 5 mins mixed with bucket trowels as waste of time getting mixer out .
 
Tacked a small bungalow in about 6-7 hours- £511. Don't get many of them

Resin screeded a floor in busy part of a hospital once. 3 hours work £1000 :D
Never earned like that since because I'm allergic to it now :( resin that is, not money.
 
We carry out maintainence for a large housing association,
I'll get orders through on a regular basis just to replace an airbrick or to patch up a small amount of render after the odd new window been installed on a house etc, booked out a full days pay and fuel, some jobs are half hour.

I do the same bud, some days do 4/5 jobs booking 3/4 hours a job and be home for 4 lol f**k em
 
I had a company that were finding it hard sourcing men around the country so QS dealt with me and agreed more or less "the rates" if i travelled and completed the jobs.
Was about one a month, weeks work , job was fairly handy but the prices were the eye opener!
family enjoyed the few holidays that year ;)
 
I've had some really good contracts that we've made a packet out of, equally we've had some that's gone tits up, swings and roundabouts as long as it tallies up at the year end and I'm making a few quid, alls well.
 
mine was 3 weeks at £180 a day to be on standby as we were waiting for an engineers report :D the most boring 3 weeks of my life but still nice cushty little number

Bought a house in 1996 21grand to rent worth 180 now and i did all the work does that count lol

I did same . Ex wife got it all for 5 n half grand.... does that count as s loss ..... it's only money
 
I slung a 20 board ceiling on at 3.30 this afternoon to go with the other 2 decent gauges id already had all at 4quid a mtr.
Which means the tax man's in for a pleasant little windfall come my next bill :(.
 
once cut some 6" holes in a "mates" walls n ceilings fed through some ducting, kitted out with inline fans..timers 600watt hd sodium bulbs n ballasts and grew a s**t load of tomato plants....... think if my mind serves me correctly we went to the thailand and doubled us turnover that year:tanguero:
 
£1050 5m2 kitchen ceiling rip down board And skim. Saturday home for 2. I originally priced it at £500 but client said I was too cheap
 
Garage fined down. As you go round the bend into the village you'll see a blue water but and orange bell mixer by the sand on your left easy as f**k job he tells me. Gets there just finished scratch coating it and the builder turns up. Who the f**k are you and why have you scratch coated my Garage. Should have driven further round the corner lol. s**t directions s**t money 0 earned not hsppy, funny now though lol
