Have to say my ones are in a bad way at the moment. It's a c**t what dust can do to them.ive no idea how you lads keep your trowels in shape lol.....mines get abused to f**k.
every trowel ive got now is bent as arseholes !!
Yes it takes a long time to break them in.A good solid workhorse of a trowel. One my workmates knocked my nela off the scaffold and one side it is bent, must have landed on the heel on left side, it's bent the right wat at least, its kind of shaped like a perma shape now on that side of the blade. Other side is ok. Shame though for it was a lovely shaped trowel.dont know if I. Cam be f**k*d now to break another nela in. Takes so long to get them nice and sharp.
Definitely, I only used it for sand cement work, well basically. But it's a right pain to think about another one. Not sure that I can be arse with it again, although, I did like it as a trowel. Would have preferred it 13x5 instead of 13x 4.75 though, can be a b*ll***s floating heads past drip bars and vents.Yes it takes a long time to break them in.A good solid workhorse of a trowel.
