So we're on a re-render and despite taking precautions a stone cill gets broken. Oops!
Sorry @lurpak no Artex was used but I thought @Vincey is sad enough to be interested.

Oh Andrew.

Standing outside in the cold, screwing into mdf to form a sill. Fair play, but f**k that. Artex ceiling bacon sarnies n tea on tap for me

Apart from being one of the many that have a stinking cold, sore throat and gunk coming up from my chest I'm all good thanks mate.
I can honestly say that I'm never happier at work than when wiping s&c onto a wall.
Agree, also love the repair too , sculpting unusual shapes is a skill , great to see posts like this on here instead of the clemrope threads
Top man

Very nice mate. I'll be honest I did seriously think about using the Ritmo with OCR, and even priced accordingly. Thing is this job was supposed to be done in September but due to useless window company was delayed till now.
Now one thing I learned quickly with the Ritmo is that you have to keep the gear quite wet, which this time of year is going to take an age to go off. By hand applying I can use the gear way stiffer than usual and obviously speed up the setting process. I also like being able to put fibres in the gear on both coats as well.

I think they are much better than the plastic crap, you have to push the wings in every inch and a half with plastic, stainless just seem to push in easier and hold there straightness much better unless you get the bacofoil ones from Wickes
Do Wickes even sell stainless beads? I'd ask @lurpak but it'd take too long to explain what a render bead looks like.
