Opinions? Hilti, festool ect or the cheaper options? Makita, DeWalt. I had a corded Makita back in the day which got robbed so never bothered replacing and just been managing the old fashioned way so opinions would be appreciated as I feel like a spending spree

Dewalt for price and how light it is in the hand plus parts are cheap as fook but hilti is the don of screw guns end of

Hilti I s were I was thinking. Nobody seems to say much about festool as there other kit is outstanding is it because there more pricey?
We've got Hiltis but a chippy pretty much insisted that I have a go with his Festool. Gutless in comparison to the Hilti.

Festool is the best i’ve used. I’ve used them all. Everyone will have their own opinions. Most problems with auto feeds are down to cheap screws, stick to a decent brand and check screws are fully in the strips.

That would of been the 2500 revs one for tin.
I didn't mean speed mate. It just didn't like putting board onto OSB over studs. Sounded like it was really finding it hard work. The chippy had been using it for fixing the OSB and even he said the Hilti had more power.

I got a second hand dewalt but don’t do much plasterboarding at all
Looking back on the last year or so of using it I’d give it 8/10 for small shite I do but I did use a hilti that a dude had on a job and omg it was 10/10
The difference was unreal and the hand held drill was the bomb
If was gonna tell myself which to buy if could go back in time I’d say
Spend the money and go hilti
Got it spend it
Not got it lend it

I bought a 4500 rpm Festool. It was s**t. Kept spitting out screws onto the floor. Threw it across the room and put it on EBay after a couple of weeks.
