You're not going to get it back on, so go up to it or be prepared to replace.Just wondered what people’s thoughts are when doing a back to brick renovation and the 2nd fix woodwork is in great condition and a shame to remove.
Carefully remove, or float to it?
House that age the lime render will probably fall away (might even be just held together with lining paper). Leave all woodwork in-situ and float and set it all. Don’t dab - looks & sounds s**t in a nice old house. Also, you can charge proper rates as you will only be one of a handful that can do that.
Most of that old woodwork is quality you can’t buy anymore. Knocks and chips showing the history of the way people have lived over the years.
