you ought to be reported to the plastering overboarding overcharging authority.

Only adding these as I thought they might help you lot out I'm moving out of the trade but some of you are seriously undercharging.

This job just completed 3 weeks work for me, lab and machine.

Lol you can write it in as many paragraphs as you want it's still boarding and skimming a ceiling. I do all of what you've described and am home before my girl is from school. It's up to other people if you want to work that slowly, I personally get bored shitless just standing around, drinking tea, or chatting for half hour in builders merchant etc. Get in, do a high quality job, clean the room and onto the next. Just cos you did 70+ at that price didn't mean you weren't ripping people off

There's people out there that charge a lot less than you.. Does that mean you are also ripping people off?

Or is your price the one and only 'right' price?

Good on FreeD for getting that sort of wedge.

Ripping people off? I don’t think so...who decides what is a fair price? THE CUSTOMER. They have the option to go else where. The amount of time it takes is irrelevant.

He's charging double the price of a lot of good tradesman and 50% more than lurpak ffs lol. If that's not a sign you're ripping people off I don't know what is. £780 to board and skim a ceiling, dear god

Makes me laugh when people come out with all this guff about ripping people off....The customer has the freedom to get as many quotes as they like and also has the freedom to choose who they like. A potential customer might go with the most expensive because they presented themselves well, had the best references, been recommended etc...To the customer the job is worth, what they are willing to pay.

Robs an example of what’s wrong with the world

Probably delusional about what he earns as well......charges himself out at £150 a day and actually thinks he’s earns £150 a day.
Fully aware what I earn a day and a year. Nicely done up house and mortgage free by 38 all thanks to abit of graft and fair prices with loyal customers. Cheers for your concern though. Anyway off to work now, vans already loaded with today's materials as I'm not a plonker lol

It would leave the drive...again it’s how you market yourself if people want something that bad and they will find the money.

Business not a charity.
