Transit lwb got row of three seats in back and still get 8x4 flat in back , builder mate picks up usually , he has holes in ply floor for upright battens to drop into and ties top to rack uprights this clamp boards on side nice and tight against racking

My van up front isn’t like a shitheap - I change my clothes before I get in the front so it’s pretty much dustless and clean - means I can travel with kids in it if I want. I’ve never had a van that’s a nail up front.
VW’s have a ‘cult’ following in all areas so the future re-sell value remains high if you look after them.

my sis's ex was a builder and had a T5. Used to work with his firm for a bit and he converted it in the end. After that, started a little side biz converting VW's into campers, but everyone doing it now. Nice van for that kind of thing though...more attractive than a transit, but for me, a van is a van, but each to their own.

Yeh I agree I suppose there only so many turds you can eat/brush your teeth with/ smear over yourself or others before you run out of new material

Went to look at a Tranny today - plenty of legroom as the photo shows and I’m 6.2.
It definitely felt less solid than the VW and a bit plastiky...
