Recently stripped my kitchen out and ended up pulling some of the render off the wall when removing tiles etc.
I’ve removed everything loose and what’s left is sound, but it is generally a very soft and powdery render.
I’ve done a bit of plastering before but by no means an expert, wondering what the best way of getting it to a good finish is. One option is obviously to strip it all off and re-render nice and plum with hardwall or sand cement.
Maybe I can patch it up though since it’s mostly intact.
Maybe bonding, but some places it’s back to the blockwork so maybe not.
Cheers
