A mesh question

Hi- new to this forum. I’ve just had a plasterer finish a room in my house and have discovered some mesh showing through. Everything else appears to be good. He said to use some 120grit sandpaper before applying a thick base coat when decorating- although I’m not sure I buy this. He’s coming back tomorrow to collect his tools and I think he should fix it… thoughts appreciated!

You ain’t gonna sand that! Dopey spread hasn’t put enough gear on, easyfill or redo.

Doesn’t look quite as bad this morning- not as visible but mesh still poking through in this location. Luckily I haven’t paid a penny yet so I’m going to ask him to fix it. It’s a shame- rest of the room looks spot on!

Looks like it's a mixture of bonding and something else adhesive possibly?
It hasn't been beaded up on the corner, are you sure he's finished? I'd imagine his intention is to bead up and plaster it with multi.

Geezer said to use 120g and a thick base coat

He's 'done' alright !

Well and truly 'done'

I want to see this thick base coat he's on about.

Thanks for the helpful advice

Nothing helpful to say? Probably a best to say nothing at all…

Not sure what he’s used to be honest- I wasn’t in when he did the plastering. It’s finished- the unbeaded corner you can see is a door opening

Funny guy.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to get out of this. I came onto this forum to ask a genuine question about how this should be rectified and you’ve offered nothing. Haven’t you got something better to do?

Just seen the second photo (next day) it's finish plaster, no plasterer worth their salt would leave a job like that.
Don't pay him until he's re plastered that wall.
