Opinions on this plastering job please

Hi - had a small hallway skimmed so we could paint it rather than wallpaper. Used a friend's husband I've used before. He did a great job 10 years ago on a garage conversion. However, this time it looks awful to me its a dark hall but i supplied flood lights. Paid £370 which works out at £30 an hour. Thinking of asking him to come back to make good. Do you think that's a reasonable request?

To be fair for what you paid it's not a bad job. You can read alot from a finish...either he thinks you are a cheapskate c**t (unlikely) or he just can't be f**ked anymore and has maybe turned to the bottle. You will know him best.
