Re point if necessary and Stormdry the walls. No water, no problem.
Always taught the only thing that should bridge the cavity is the ties !
I’m considering having cavity wall insulation installed in my home and have a few questions. I’ve heard it can help with energy efficiency, but I’m unsure about the types of insulation available and whether it’s worth the investment. Are there any potential downsides, such as moisture issues or air quality concerns? Also, how long does the insulation typically last, and is it a good option for older homes? Any recommendations on reliable installers or things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice! We had ours filled with blown fibre about 5 years... it great

No problems with damp now, did have some in the bathroom before we had it insulated....
