Of course I could skim it like hardwall same day ?
If I left the ocr one day two weeks ago month etc does it still skim like hardwall same day?
 
I don’t get any problems like that with a render with waterproofer share the knowledge mate
 
Mate I've always used MS20 and I add waterproofer as per recommended dose (and dash for good luck). Personally I don't like Weber OCR for skimming but if you decide to use it then put waterproofer in.

Heard that one before mate. I've seen some of the work done by so called excellent renderers and it's not so excellent

No, no, no, NO! You do not and will not skim it the same day.
Jesus Christ, let it cure and then skim it FFS.
 
Ok everyone calm down :LOL: andy forget skimming it the same day who knows it may have been doeable obviously not, I’m just wondering what sand cement is like to skim with no waterproofer that’s all mate and does it make a difference if it’s left a day or a month (y)

If you only leave it a day you'll probably get a green suction, if you leave it the correct amount of time you'll almost certainly get a nice suction off it.
I once floated a house out on site and didn't skim it for about five months. The only bits that sucked really fiercely were the undersides of the Catnic lintels, everything else was no bother whatsoever. That was with standard sand and cement, not OCR though, so not full of lime.
