Mate I do smaller sets and get through kilos of the stuff. Also if you got smaller patches e.g ceiling patch get yourself some small digital scales and weigh it out to the gram. If I remember rightly 17g is perfect for quick ceiling patch. If you put to much in the f**ker flash sets in 3.5 mins.

Aluminium sulphate

Add sugar cubes /& or vinegar and lemon juice.
