Living dream. What we got on today

Nah, only first coat on walls anyway. I sprayed the whole house out white, but put a quick coat on the ceiling by roller. Paint 3 bedroom ceilings, then hit the walls while still wet, cut in when ceiling dry ready for 2nd coat on walls.

    Bowed plastering

I had a pallet direct from Encon. All stacked flat and still bent like a banana. Think the problem is due to two different bonded materials contracting/expanding at different rates causing the bow. Not so much off an issue with thinner boards. Can’t comment on the polystyrene backed boards as...

    Bowed plastering

The thin ones aren’t too bad Jess, but the thicker boards are shite. Just done a house with 62.5mm boards and 25mm in a couple of areas. All you can do is try and get a line of best fit then bond them out. They’re bowed like bananas before they even see a dab.

    Drying Out - How Long?

Never used it mate. Just bought a qtech airless sprayer and used about 7 tubs of Leyland trade to paint whole house from bare plaster to solid white.

    Plan of action for this

@djfleming22 Fair enough for wanting to try out the popcorn van, but with such a powerful weapon, comes much responsibility. Give it a few years, and we’ll see where you’re at. If you’re still keen, then we may be able to begin a training program...no promises though!

It’s a good job I’m across the pond mate, it could have got very ugly, you know what I’m like! Flemings had a lucky escape this time...
