    We mostly use putty limes for internal work and NHL for outside.. NHL 2 is better for internal finish rather than 3.5 if your going the NHL route but more difficult to find a supplier..... Most builders merchants just sell the 3.5 if at all

    limelite high impact finish You can finish it with a metal trowel for a smooth finish but the idea of this material is that it's breathable.... By finishing to a smooth finish you are reducing or making it non breathable.... It should be finished with a sponge to keep texture open You...

    Personally I never finish lime with a steel trowel You should really be leaving a light texture to leave it breathable .....so sponge would be recommended You need to make it clear to customer what material can do and not the other way around

    We don't allow for scaffold on our render jobs but have a firm we ask to price and if customer accepts they do this on a fixed price for a set time (say 6 weeks max) And would only charge if it goes over.....

    Yes it's pre 1980s bearing in mind plasterboard first used around 1912-14 But Lath and plaster was still used till 1930s I believe...

    We had some cromar stuff a while back .....too bloody thin, ran down walls onto skirting board Was orange in tub. ...ended up mixing half blue grit with it to thicken it up (and thin down blue grit)

    Couldn't see pics earlier due to poor signal... Not good... Mesh ? If it's fibre render mesh I'm sorry to say it's 30.00 to 75. 00 for 50m roll....
