Whats he just going to paint the render ? there are plenty of pool plasterers on the market ! i use one called pacelite Ready-mixed waterproof marble swimming pool liner for indoor and outdoor pools, paddling pools and animal and wildlife swim tanks from Pacelite. plenty of colours to choose...

Hi mate , you will need to strip the tiles of if they are a mess and loose and they are probably on a render coat then you have the pool shell , so if they tiles are loose or the render hollow / boss then hack it of back to the shell then re apple new render and tiles or pool plaster :-)

Spoke to weber tech ,! who says walls needed skabbling whatever rung company back ,who now say they will apply the rend aid !!! so that says to me they will slosh it on without scabbling :-) then tell us its ready Bankers straight away !.......

Got a swimming pool to render/screed BUT ! its shuttered concrete , so the wall will be to smooth , now the company are telling me that they will apply rend-aid !!! before we render! my question is do you guys think this is ok or not as i have no experience with this rend aid stuff ! all new to...

And when they render - they call it mudding , they all seem to put wooden strips in there walls as screeds level and flush, then rule-off using them as a guide for there straight edges, it seems to work for them , i was always told to use cement screeds across the wall top and bottom then after...

I did a pool floor in yorkshire the other year and wanted SBR in the mix !!! but the silly fookers mixed the screed then added SBR so i had a wet mix !!! bloody hard work, they should of taken out the same amount of water that they put SBR liquid in !!!!!!!!!!! thicko's

Yes it works great ! i have done loads now i have been doing this for the last 5years ! i fix the insulation boards ! , then render over the top and embed mesh cloth in to the render !, about 6mm on walls and 12 mm on the floor then when its cure mosaic tile over the lot ! :-) having the...

Iknow it was a trick years ago to mix s&c with a bit og bonding to stick beads on rendering if needed speed :-) , but that is taking the pish..........

Thanks v-much keith !, i did the floor as well with the ocr but opted to fix battens to the floor and fill -in as its more of a render than a screed!, any better ideas please say lads ??

Thanks guy's i'am new to it really, so i will try two passes like said earlier ! we will be doing the floor of the pool in the same but i will use wooden grounds as it's like render :-)

work with Weber OCR, i will be rendering up to the maximum 15mm thick so do you try and get it on at that in one coat or put two 7.5mm coats on the same day , or would you scratch day one and float day two , not done much with ocr ,so looking to one of you young racing snakes to spill.

The thing is and i keep saying this -on here is if you do the job knowing it is wrong YOU HAVE TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT UNDER THE LAW !!!!! as we tradesmen ! all have a duty of care towards the customer !!!!! so if it does go wrong and crack and they take you to court you will be sued...

Plaster sizer and waterproofer in the same mix !!!!!!!!! they would work against each other as one puts air/bubbles into the mix and the other tries to get rid-of the air bubbles .....lol builderssssssss
