i pulled one of these out off a wet spot one at work with a d max and he had a traler on he wasent very happy as he was a die hard landrover man i had to ask him three times did he want a pull before he gave in
most of the jobs i do tend to be big new builds houses most of the walls take two bags done the kitchen lid today took four bags and there was sixteen sets of wires hanging done to work around
sure is alot cheaper the last time i used k rend it iook four bag to make one barrow full 40 quid i call get 3 barrow full sand and cement out of a big mixer for about 15 quid premixed renders are a massive ripoff when u look at it. its sand and cement with couloring in it
labour only works if u have a two and one gang and price work have had lots off good lads over the years but the wernt good when the came to me i see a lot of plasters dont put the time in to showing them there job . the exspect them to know every thing from the start i never let them stand...
I know its very old fashioned but if I am looking for work I drive around and call into sites I see and waitfor it I ask for work not the done thing iknow but it works
i only have to trowels myself one broken in and one in training on s and c same as i have one pair of good shoes and one pair of work boots and one wife and one in training i would feel very odd going in on a job with a brief case i reckon the lads would make great fun of it
i had a whole bale of 8 by 4 in the back of a transit one day the drawbar was tiping the ground another day i had a full bale off 8 foot planks thats 100 hundred planks the are a work horse u can do anythink to them and the still keep going
as far as i know and it s just because i have done hundreds of them quoins are the halfs taken out and keystones are when there left in u just do the v cut
i allways have one with me i was doing a job couple of weeks ago and the 110 box packed up the middle of a set u cant go home then out comes the plunger to save the day dont see why its such had work plasters are gone soft
