I use a xo10. its ok for small bits and pieces, like bags of render for repairs, paint, microgobetis, bag of skim, tile adhesives . its luxury to just grab a wisk that works straight away . but its not suited for day to day skimming IMO
even tho its 54v volt id check the amp/hour when in 54v mode. the collomix/metabo are 5.2 amp hr . You will mix 3 x 1 bag mixes with it before it needs charging. the dewalt is only about 2 amp in 54v mode its not gonna last long no matter how much power its got, thats probably ok for tools...
soft stator lets aggresive and difficult to mix materials flow through with ease. ive not tested a new one but TBF with the ritmo l the pump just starts going slower and slower which you will notice by you having to turn the water down to compensate.
Most soft stators are getting 25-30 ton...
Could you hire one for this project, by hiring you have the flexability of upgrading or downgrading. You can also decide if its worth investing in one, they are large bits of kit to carry round . CES hire will likely have the suitable model
What type of work do you do.
If you are just a domestic type of plasterer doin refurbs new builds etc you will benefit from a machine that mixes and pumps yet isnt too much kit to carry around.
For my money the reason the ritmo is so popular in the Uk is its plug and play.
The Ritmo as u see it...
when u stop the machine u get a trickle of water still in pipe that sits on the material thats allready mixed. when u start it up again it takes a bit more effort to shift the static material in the pipe and so the allready mixed stuff with a bit of water on it gets a little bit more water on it...
Should get 20 ton from a MF . even more from a soft or clampable. Dont overthink the clampable ! just put it together & put it in the clamp so its just being gripped by it. dont ring fukkk out of it and youre away to go. run a few ton through it then just nip it up half a turn and put another...
you can spray topcoat with a hopper gun no problem. Its the output in ltrs you need to spray topcoats. TBH ive used a 250ltr vmeko with a hopper gun and it was great. If i used the same to spray through a machine it wouldnt be enough
The bionic shaft is on the ritmo. In fairness you dont get much wear on ritmo mixing shafts.
The bionic benefits 3 phase users. the wear on the top of the mixing shaft where it fits into the hauling bracket is reduced greatly and also wear on the hauling bracket.
you start getting problems with poor mixing and amps going up and tripping machine.
you get to recognise the symptoms.
its easy to keep an eye on the mixing shaft for wear to avoid problems
I forgot to mention aswell. You do have some wearable parts on the Ritmo. So factor in that once you have the machibe there are running costs
An original PFT Ritmo L rotor and stator should last you between 20 and 30 tons when using render. These cost about £90 for a set.
Also the mixing shaft...
They both do the same thing pretty much just the equipment set up is a bit different.
The Ritmo is keeping it simple and in its standard set up is ready to do 95% of your work .The Ritmo L has a built in compressor. Most plasterers are using these smaller type machines on domestic or new...
Dont worry about fukk all. just go to the training and ur half way there. use your training guide as that helps too and then u always got the phone. I get boys up and running from scratch on the phone. every ones a winner
About 9-10 bags vince. 1 bag will do about 3 m2 so prob about a 1.30 a bag.
Not much fun on your own i would get ext hopper but its do able. Very simple system.
done loads of this and this is what works for me. but it may help
1, set machine up. pipe full, hopper full and break a bag in 2...
sometimes the trip switches are just too sensitive. doesn't happen too often thankfully. Try going from a different socket in the ring main or the cooker socket if all else fails
What speed do you have your machine set at? that may be the reason your water is set lower than the recommended. The mortar pressure guage where the material exits should help you explain to others how wet or stiff you are running your material
i found this problem with 110v machines. its not like u can just plug into a spare socket. it must be totally free and close enough so a genny is usually only option.
then the 230v socket you plug into with ur transformer so u may aswell go straight in with a 230v machine.
anyway i have made...
it dont take too much imagination to see why they made a single phase mixing pump that worked
Ill take a stab in the dark and say M tec took 10 years to see that the Ritmo worked so eventually copied it.
Or
M tec actually got stuck in 2005 playing snake on their nokia 3510 until a couple...
MOST accellorators will damage some of the wanter components if you use them regularly
maybe try a retarder instead as you use far less of this in comparison.
Ive seen a solution where a seperate running adapted water pump will actually add the required dose of accelorator direct to ur mixing...
M tec decided to make a Ritmo copy and you adapted it to ur own specification. The M200 Basics are all there, like i said you had the chassis and just copied the Ritmo EWI for the way you adapted the machine.
You would think though that M tec themselves would be much better off just copying...
dont worry about showing me up .im a big boy i can handle it.
M tecs european actual specs for the m200 are similar in output and distance to ritmo spec sheets
why dont m tec just stick with your desighn. with twice the power and in 230v it would actually give any 3 phase machine a run for...
