Hi @bobspread, we are based in Walton, L9. Would it be convenient for you to meet coming Thursday or the following week mate? I'll arrange material samples for you as well.
We are Liverpool based supplier of Vimark premium quality renders and Bauwer insulation range. Could you please advise your requirements @craigEEE ? Our FT version is called Arenino, with coverage of 8m2@3mm thickness from 25kg bag.
More professional plasterers are choosing Vimark renders. Loading another full load of Vimark renders in northern Italy for our customers in the UK and Ireland:
Introducing Polyfix, high strength adhesive-coating mortar for thermal insulation system or for smoothing out poorly absorbent substrates. Its high bonding strength make it an ideal coating product for poorly absorbent substrates such as concrete, EPS or membranes, etc. It is a certified product...
Sorry Arti, I just checked our systems and we did not send neither book or samples to you....it's all my fault. We'll correct it quickly for you, sorry again.

Hi Mate, I never tried using Tyrolean flicker gun with Arenino but I see no reason why it should not work.
Also Talocciato is a more rough version of Arenino with a grain size of 1.5mm. Suggest trying small area, so you could make sure you are happy with the finish.
Sure, I agree. Saying that, if the existing render is tired but still solid, it could be face-lifted a bit with a help of thin coating Arenino. On it's own or over Rasolite is irregularities in the older render are too significant mate.
Render carrier boards:
Following several enquires this is to confirm that Rasolite, with mesh in it, is designed to be applied over render carrier boards, including knauf aquapanel as a base coat. Rasolite could be finsihed with Arenino thin coat in order to achieve nice looking finish...
If irregularities in the existing painted solid render more than 5-8mm, Rasolite (similar to Parinter) could be applied to unify the substrate and then Arenino over Rasolite. If irregularities are less than 5mm, Arenino could be used on it's own per the post above.
I'd suggest the most cost efficient and easy solution for this or similar applications would be sanding painted wall a bit before application of Arenino with a mesh in it and, to have the best link with painted but solid render, mix Arenino with water + 1 liter of Vimarlatex 883 per bag.
We'll...
Please PM me in order to claim your 2 free tickets for Homebuilding and Renovating Show at NEC Birmingham, March 23-26. Our stand is F229 we'll be presenting our award wining Vimark range of renders as well as Bauwer thermal renovation render for older buildings insulation.
Hi Mate, would you be able to try Arenino over Rasolite with a mesh in it and compare vs your current method. Arenino should be able to give you 8m2 at £14 per bag and a nice good looking finish. Rasolite at £10 per bag is a decent coating, to be applied over painted but solid render, it is well...
Several options here, 1st and the most cost efficient: Arenino could be applied on painted render if the old render and paint are solid, without dust and no much water-repellent, eg no varnish. Suggest sanding wall before appling Arenino and, to have the best link, mix Arenino with water + 1...
Hi Mate, Vimark S.r.l supplies about 300 different types of renders plasters for more than 35 years across Central and Western Europe. Clearly we could define a right specification, right quality cost efficient material and we could recommend the right application method which would work well...
I spoke to Labs and they asked for about £5K, if I am not mistaken, for about one hour time worth of paperwork. I've considered doing that, but it would mean I would sell Mono for let say £9 per bag vs £8 today. Not sure it is a good investment to be honest.
If there is any issue for guarantee underwriter to consider, I'd suggest there could be about three to four reasons to blame: faulty materials, application outside method statement, anti-social behavior damaging the installation or a hurricane. Might be more reasons I've missed.
They learned...
Sure, written guarantee is an advantage which helps dealing with the clients.
We are happy to issue a warranty on our material supplied as well.
In central Europe Bauwer is issuing 25 years installation + material warranty on about 40% of installations they are doing with their own installation...
Several breathable insulation options are presented below. Breathability is measured by vapour permeability coefficient which needs to be below 15 in order to call material breathable. Breathability coefficient of 4 is considered highly breathable or highly vapour permeable, allowing property...
Hi mate, do you require to insulate or just plaster? cheers
We offer breathable materials for both options: Bauwer Light + Bauwer Finish for insulation and Rasolite, one layer application, for renovation and repair of older buildings.
More information on our materials at...
Sure mate, we offer paperwork as well. Also about 3,800 tons of Mono with coverage of about 200.000 sqm were installed in France and Italy with virtually no issues. Most of installations were in France, about 80% to 85% and about 15% in Italy. About 1,900 tons of Arenino, white and coloured...
Rasolite could be applied over painted but solid substrate. Being permeable it is very popular for older buildings renovation were insulation was not specified. It is one layer system with off white natural lime colour. Could be used both internally and externally.
Hi Mate, we offer 25 years manufacturer warranty.
Bauwer insulation materials are extremely robust being inorganic in its composition. When applying Bauwer Light use key coat, recommended finish, wet the substrate before application in order to avoid quick drying of Bauwer Light. Apply Bauwer...
I believe the answer to the question "should ALL buildings with no cavity be plastered internally and rendered externally only with breathable materials, so they can breathe?" is No.
Insulation materials with low permeability are not entirely incompatible with older construction but careful...
Hi Mate, if you double sponge Bauwer Finish as advised @theclemo and paint after, you would get a nice finish from £8 Bauwer Finish bag with yield of 8m2 coverage at about 3mm. You could see the application process on the video:
Bionic mixing shaft, photo below, is required only for Bauwer Light application on PFT machines:
Other materials like Bauwer Finish, Mono, Raslite, do not need any special shafts, parts and could be applied as any other render.
Bauwer Light could be also applied by Mtec M200 or M300 with no...
Hi Mate, probably it would help to make a short summary here:
Bauwer Light - insulation of traditionally built homes, two layers insulation system
Arenino - think coat, similar to JUB or K rend thin coating, could be used over Bauwer Light as well as over tired but solid render
Mono -...
Hi Mate, only Bauwer Light requires Bionic mixing shaft as it is light weight at only 280kg/m3.
Rasolite is 1,400 kg/m3 which is normal density, so not special parts required, it would be sprayed nicely mate.
Hi Mate, Bauwer is insulation job which benefit your customer in better living conditions, dehumidification as well as reduced heating bills. That's the reason why Bauwer job is priced considerably more expensive vs one layer rendering, plastering. Also Bauwer Light is 2.5 times lighter vs Cecil...
80mm of Bauwer Light could be applied in 2 layers 40mm first day and second day another 40mm, then you could leave it for couple of days before finishing. It is critical to protect Bauwer Light from a direct strong sun in summer in order to avoid quick loss of water within Bauwer Light...
Hi Mate,
Bauwer Light is the insulation, you could compare it with mineral wool for example or with insulation boards. It is insulation which is designed for plasterers and applied by plasterers, but at the end it is insulation which is light weight and only 280kg/m3 in density which is 5 times...
Hi Mate, have you got a chance to compare Mono white and monoblanco?
I got Anthony here from Parex asking if Mono is whiter than a white, eg. whiter than Monoblanco or not. Cheers mate
Also how it compares application wise, thanks
